Ppi claim rejected

Evening all, I need some advise.
Basically first of all Blackhorse rejected my claim about a year ago and then wrote me couple of months back stating that they made a mistake and I may have Ppi and need further four weeks to investigate, so they wrote to me again advising they need a further 8 weeks so today I received a letter stating that Ppi was not in place in 2007 and they have rejected my claim. Can I challenge this and dispute this with them?

Of course you can, I assume you have evidence of the PPI having been charged on your account? Submit that as an appeal and they’ll re-work the investigation based on the evidence you’ve submitted.helpful tips
it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)0 -

That comment seems to suggest that you have evidence that you paid PPI. If so, then yes, you should challenge it.
If you dont have evidence you paid PPI, then what exactly are you using to challenge it?
Blackhorse have been trawling through old data that was not previously available. So, the likely scenario is that your name probably came up on the list of data items located and that is why they wrote to you. However, once someone actually reviewed the data, they saw you didn't have PPI. The people doing the restoration of data and the people doing the PPI reviews are different.0 -
They rejected my claim first a year ago and then wrote to be directly apologising that they made a mistake and do have Ppi so now I have sent a letter to explain this and why it took so long I0

this differs to what you said earlier. You said
1 - "stating that they made a mistake and I may have Ppi "
2 - "today I received a letter stating that Ppi was not in place in 2007"
So, that reads that they may have made a mistake but after checking have found there was no PPI.
The new data doesnt mean you had PPI and they are saying that you didnt. So, what have you got that says you have PPI?0
