Pet Insurance
I currently have pet insurance with Pet Plan (came with pup from breeder and I just extended to get it off my plate for a few months). I know from previous experience that it will balloon massively if I just 'inertia renew'.Anyway, my question is a more general one. I would prefer to self-insure ie put the premium into a…

Barclays pulling a fast one for PPI
Hi all, I put in a complaint with Barclays for PPI last year with the result that they kept writing saying they will come back to me as soon as they can. PPI Tax reclaim - risk?
Hi I had two PPI payouts, one in 2017 and one in 2019. In 2017 £431 was deducted from the gross interest paid, and in 2019 £1382 tax was deducted from the gross interest paid. My question is whether it's risky to seek a repayment of some of this through an R40, or if it might actually increase my tax liability for those…

I received a letter earlier this week from a bank to say that I have been successful in claiming PPI to a relatively large sum. It was sent to my address but used my middle name instead of my first name and I had in the past used the said bank for a loan so I didn't think it was too out of the ordinary (I was under the…

Nationwide Building Society - refusing to consider a PPI claim without the joint applicant - discrim
I started to use UClaim4Me in October 2018 when I retired. I sent details of various lenders where I may have had PPI and at one stage they told me that they had discovered that I did have a PPI policy in force associated with my borrowing.
