Third Party Closing Claim - Help!
I am desperate for some advice! The backstory is a bit long winded so if you are interested, pull up a chair and get comfy :) Before the claim cutoff, I helped my dad start several PPI claims through a company. We decided it would be best to use a third-party as he is in a care-home with dementia and I do not have time or…

I used JPS Financial for reclaiming ppi. They made it sound so easy. They phoned and asked for everybody who I had credit cards or loans with. I have now received an invoice from them saying that it has become apparent that I have already attempted a claim previously. I was not aware of this but it may have been true as I…

Opted out of state pension in 1983 ?
In 1983 I joined 2 other women to form a co-operative selling our own knitwear in London. I was told at that time that everyone would soon be opting out of the state pension and advised to, as soon as possible. I never contributed over the years and left the co op about 3 years later. My husband died last month and I've…

Successful reclaim of Life Insurance Policy mis sold
Way back in 1996 when my wife and I bought our first house were advised to take a life insurance policy as mortgage protection for our repayment mortgage. This would repay a fixed amount if either of us died. Well, like many people, we forgot about it, have moved house several times, have taken out other policies over time…

Provident -deceased parent
My MIL died in 2011 but my hubby said for as long as he can remember she had a provident loan or vouchers . The same lady called to the house to collect repayment and issue new loan when one repaid. Someone suggested it's mis-selling but I assume it's on the past and nothing can be done

Previous Claim failed but now found loan number (HSBC)
Hi I made an attempt to claim PPI from HSBC for a loan I took out in 2000 and finished paying in 2008. I made the claim in 2010 and HSBC stated they didn't keep records longer than 6 years old and without a loan number couldn't do anything. I have since found the loan number after clearing out the garage. It got packed…

Hello... When I took out my first mortgage I was told by the mortgage advisor that I had to take out HTMPP. A dear friend of mine passed away recently and I am her executor. When she died, she had been trying to sort out reclaiming PPI for her mother, who had also passed away nearly four years ago. PPI Complaint or No PPI Complaint
On 29th August 2019 I complained to various banks about PPI mis-selling. A few successful payouts, but MBNA & Barclays said I was out of time. I referred to FOS and they also said that my complaints on 29th August were PPI checker enquiries and could not take matters further. Is this correct?
