RAMPING UP
I used to think all sentences beginning, for no reason whatsoever, with the word "SO" were the most annoying sound in the English language. But now I have found something even worse-----it is the phrase "RAMPING UP". Yes, you've all heard it many times every day over the past month or two. Anyone agree ? Or name your own…

Totally ripped off by plumber
Hiya. I was charged £632 to change two small parts on our hot water tank. The engineer was shocked by the price but his office wouldn’t let him leave until we had paid. He gave us an indication it would be about a third of this amount. We have been totally ripped off. Is there anything we can do?
