"Artemis Insolvency Services Limited" And "Property Partnership Ltd" Scam

Hi all, long time lurker here, usually able to find solutions based of others questions but for this one I cannot find an easy answer.
In short, my father (~80) has been scammed to the tune of £30k+

Roughly 15 years ago he invested with the Property Partnership Ltd. I use the term invested loosely as this was a land banking scam. This wound up in the high court roughly 5 years ago I believe (Cannot post the link but it is on the Govt website called: complete-land-banking-scam-wound-up-in-the-high-court)

A couple of months ago he was targeted by a recovery room scam (Artemis) promising him recovery of assets, the usual rubbish which he fell for and paid over some money in fees.

Obviously this is embarrassing and scamees usually are very secretive. I am trying to follow up with the FCA and need to get a case to action fraud and contact the bank but I wondered if anyone found out what happened to assets of the victims of Property Partnership Ltd? I assume it was basically all gone and nothing recoverable but cannot find much on it.

I think I know how to handle it and basically gently explain the money is gone but any help or advice would be appreciated.

Artemis are a legit Insolvency firm. They would have a client list available from failed firms, who they contact to advise on recovery of assets. I assume your father has been contacted over the loss in this so called land bank.

Normally these would not want a fee, I have been contacted over a loan I had a few years back by them, and no money was taken for their services, as it was assumed my claim would be £0!

As they work in insolvency, they also deal with bankruptcy's and IVA. I would check whether your father has been involved in this.

Yes there is indeed a legitimate one, however it is not this one.

The insolvency-practitioners dot org dot UK have a specific warning about this false firm with this exact number and email address. Cannot post link but it is there...
