SCAM / Amazon gift vouchers

Hi guys,
I've been victim of a scam yesterday. Someone emailed me in my work email with my boss name, asking me to buy Amazon gift vouchers and send them a picture of them with the claim code via email. I've lost £1800 before realising it was a scam.
I've reported this to Amazon freud as well as Citizens Advice Consumer Service, and I am about to report to the Bank - do you know the best way to report this? Has anyone been victim of a similar scam and have a suggestion?
I would really appreciate it!
Thanks a lot,
Carlotta

Talk to your boss and your work IT department.

Did you not ask why someone wanted you to spend £1,800 first?

If my boss had done that, I would be questioning them. Also, how come, as you say, it came from your boss and his email! I would ask your IT department why they allow scam emails to appear on their system.

I doubt Amazon fraud will be interested, I myself have sent amazon voucher, to colleagues in the US in $$$. It goes to their account. Simple!

Yep, I would also be asking for someone with a  company credit card to do it. I would never spend that much of my own money on a work transaction!
