Hello everyone
We ordered a couple of chairs in May from Sklum with a delivery date for beginning of June. They never arrived, my emails and messages on social media have been left unread/ignored. Unable to contact them by phone.

I have just looked at the latest Trustpilot reviews and comments on their social media pages and it's not looking good!

They are still advertising massive sales but don't seem to be delivering or refunding for goods not delivered, not responding to people. I just wanted to warn anyone who might be tempted to order from them, my order was on credit card but was just less than £100 so I'm expecting the worst.

It looks like issues due to the Coronavirus but they seem to be avoiding customers altogether which is the worst idea.

Just one to be aware of ☹

Chargeback claim for non-delivery of goods. Get it in quick in case they're planning on phoenixing the business.

Thanks so much for the advice! It's really appreciated. We can ill afford to lose money at the moment :(

I've messaged the bank and let others know. There's actually a FB group set up for people left hanging by Sklum, the person who set it up has been banned from commenting on all their social media pages, despite losing £650 and not getting any help. It sounds pretty grim!
  • Sounds familiar - ordered sofa bed and chair in July - order pending stock but when you check website item is in stock.  Looks like going to be out of pocket for 300 + quid 🤬
  • This is happening to me. I've just spent the last few days emailing them. At first I wasn't suspicious but after getting no reply and the telephone listed on their website 0203 769 2694 doesn't get answered, all I get is: "It has not been possible to connect your call!" I now realise I just one of many who have been cheated.  I've contacted my bank to see if there's a way I can get my money back but this company should not be able to operate.

Unfortunately the OP has not been back to say how they got on.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
  • I should have read sklum reviews before. It's taking longer than usual to get my order delivered. I've ordered from them before and never had any issues.
  • I tried to contact them by phone but apparently they were too busy. Finally I got my order (1 week later than expected) but the products are in perfect condition!
