UPS: faked delivery, stolen package, false tracking info...

Are UPS the most useless delivery company on earth? I have had a series of bad experiences with them recently:
- Around a month ago, I ordered some headphones, sat at home waiting on day of delivery, parcel never arrived, and when I checked tracking, it said 'delivered' and signed by me. I asked for proof of delivery, UPS could obviously not provide any so they eventually refunded me. The package never materialised. Problem is I ordered the headphones during a sale, and by the time this got resolved, they were back at full price - not the biggest problem in the world right now, I know, but still an absolute joke.
- And then last week, I got the delivery time/date text for some clothing I ordered, took the day off work and sat at home waiting. Nothing arrives, online tracking systems are down, I phone customer support, I am told my parcel is in Germany, no explanation, no apology, nothing.
- I check tracking again today, 'out for delivery, 10.15am-14.15pm'. It's now well beyond that time, and I've waster another day sitting at home, and still no parcel. Phoned customer support, they said 'maybe wait until 7pm'. Shambles. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that maybe this time they won't fake a delivery and steal my parcel again.
I have no idea why anyone still uses this company, they are a total and utter failure. I've had nothing but good experiences with all the other big shipping companies. If you're ordering stuff online, and UPS are the only choice for delivery, shop elsewhere.

The missing parcel isn't even your problem, the retailer has the contract with UPS so they are the people who would compain if they have a significant amount of missing parcels.0

Also surprised UPS refunded you and not the retailer / sender?
Missing parcels are not your problem.
Perhaps are just unlucky with UPS, As with others?

They may be a pretty useless company but why do people always cry 'Theft'? It could have been mis-delivered, lost, stuck amongst a pile in a depot or have been badly packaged and had the address details ripped off. There are any number of reasons for non delivery. I think its quite ridiculous to accuse a company employee of theft with no proof whatsoever.6

You could do what my neighbour did?
I accepted a parcel for her.
Two days later she comes to collect it. No "thanks very much", just a comment that I was not in when she came yesterday evening.
Next week postie knocks on my door, "your neighbour marked this for delivery to you, if not at home"

UPS don't provide timed slots like that. They also wouldn't refund you because you don't have a contract with them and they had no idea what was in your parcel. Are you a disgruntled ex-UPS employee by chance? Or just a troll?0

None of this happened. Others have explained why, so maybe it’s time to see if anyone’s able to help with what must be problems elsewhere in your life.
What’s the actual issue here? What’s gone wrong that you are on here making up stories like this?0
