getting money abroad
After following Martin's guidance for getting holiday cash abroad, I got a Nationwide Flexaccount Debit card. Not only did it do the job perfectly ( I was in Thailand ) there were NO charges whatsoever and not only that I got a better exchange rate for my money. Gained 75 thai baht, enough for my meals for that day.
