Airport parking at Southampton

Any ideas. Only the BAA website has any car parks here and it seems to be more expensive to prepay then to turn up - which makes no sense.

There is only one(possibly a second further along the perimeter) carpark at Southampton from memory so not much competition to reduce prices. Other options are to find somewhere near a train station further along the line and go to Southampton Airport Parkway by train. Also possibility of street parking elsewhere followed by taxi into the airport0

Thanks for trying but there appears to be no airport parking at Southampton with any of these companies. I think we are going to pre book even if it is more expensive as we are worried that with Easter the car park may be quite full if there is only one.Moss5 wrote:0 -

Would you be stopping over the night B4, if so is it worth looking at perhaps a Travelodge room at £10 or £26 and ask if your car could be left for the duration of your hols, just a thought, even if it did mean getting a taxi each way.;)

Both http://www.holidayextras.co.uk and http://www.parkandgo.co.uk have Southampton on their drop down list but neither seems to have any allocation for 7-14 April it might be worth giving them a call.0
