We have a PT Cruiser which swallows petrol like nothing on earth plus is costly to tax. I have been using my daughters car instead of ours for the last…

Vauxhall Zafira roof bars and boxes.
Dear all, finally traded up our 2000 Zafira today at the Vauxhall garage by us. The old car had broken down 3 times in 3 months but the garage was unable to diagnose the problem, so we thought blow it. Just bought 2006 Diesel Zafira for £10995 and they gave us £2500 off our old car (feel sorry for the poor sod who buys it)…

My engine management light has suddenly appeared on my Ford Focus 2002 and not sure whats wrong. The car drives normally. A complicated question
I'm Irish and living in London. I've just accepted a job in the West of Ireland and I'm going to move home in 6 weeks time. I have a lot of stuff and I'm going to need a car to move. I will also need a car in my new job so it makes sense to buy one, but I've no idea how to work out the logistics. I have a full license but…

Under what circumstances can an MOT tester not allow you to drive away?
Under what circumstances can an MOT tester not allow you to drive the tested vehicle away? I have tried searching online but not found anything. Just seen on another forum someone has been prevented from doing so for just a broken side light switch, which to me seems wrong and must be against the law.

Seems they…

Whose fault was it?
I'm driving downhill (not steep, just sloping) and this 4x4 had come from the opposite side of the road to cross my path in order to go down a side street. There was a car infront of her so she wasn't able to turn into the side street and her back end was stationery and sticking out in my side of the road. I didn't see her…
