Cancelling Car Insurance + NCB?`
Just looking around and found that I can save sooo much money by terminating my car insurance early and taking it out with another company (even with the £60 admin fee!).
But what happens to my NCB, will my old insurance company provide me with a letter stating my NCB, as none of my documentation mentions how much NCB I have - just that I have 'enough' to warrant full NCB status!
Is this going to be one of the situations where the new company will not provide me with my NCB as the old company is going to drag its heels over providing proof, as I cancelled with them early?
Any others with experience? Thanks.

You'll lose the current year you're currently accruing but you'll have the NCB that was there when you renewed your car insurance this year.0

I shouldn't think it'll be a problem. I just switched insurers and for the first time in my driving career was asked to provide proof of no claims, so rang up the ex-insurance company and they sent me a letter straight away that I forwarded to my new insurers.
