Opening multiple ISA accounts
Hello all I’m thinking of doing the following but just wanted reassurance here that it’s possible and there is no issue with this approach… I currently have a fixed rate cash ISA that’s about to mature within the next week. I’m planning on transferring it to another fixed rate cash ISA for a one year term, probably later…

Chip ISA and bank access permissions
I've had a Chip ISA for some months now (run through an app on my phone), and while I am satisfied with the interest rates and account features, I noticed something a bit odd. Periodically, the app asks me to renew permissions for Ship to look into my bank account. Or at least, that's what it appears to say. It seems that…

Refix now or wait?
I have 3 ISAs and when they mature (all at the beginning of April but different years), I normally transfer on date of maturity to a new fixed more often with a different bank and I'm tending to fix for longer. Last year I noticed that if I'd waited a couple of weeks the interest rates improved later in April. I don't know…

Why can’t I withdraw the full stocks and shares ISA
Hi, I have over £6K in my Vanguard S&P500 account and was just curious on the process of withdrawing the amount but when I tried going through the process of withdrawing, it says I have £2,076 cash available to withdraw. Why can’t I withdraw the full amount if I wanted to? I could understand if there were potentially large…

Transfer HL Stocks&Shares ISA to Trading 212
Hi, I have a Hargreaves Landsdown CV Stocks and Shares ISA through my work and I was thinking of transferring it to as they have increasde the fees now and Trading 212 is much cheaper and looks a lot more modern. Most of my funds are trackers and they don't match the ones available in Trading 212 so is it best to just sell…

Opening a new cash ISA to transfer into when you've already paid in the max allowed
I have a cash ISA that I'm considering moving (i.e. transferring) to a new provider in order to get a better rate. Most (probably all?) providers require a minimum opening balance (even if it's just £1) but if I've already used my £20k limit for this tax year, will I be able to open a new cash ISA with the new provider? Or…

Security Vs Cash ISAs UK
5 years ago I participated in a 3 year sharesave scheme at the company I work for. 2 years ago it hit maturity and we were given the opportunity to transfer up to around £2000 into a cash ISA tax free. I haven't touched the rest of the shares which were worth just under 18K at the time since then although when looking at…

Transferring Child Trust Fund
Hi, I want to transfer my son’s child trust fund into a junior stocks and shares isa. I’ve been told by Fidelity I can’t do that and that none of the others will let me as it has to be like for like. They’ve said that I can hire a financial advisor to do it for me. Is that the only way? Thanks.

Are any providers offering 2026/2027 Cash ISAs yet?
That's it really. Are there any providers out there offering Cash ISA products now for the next financial year(incl interest rates) on the understanding that deposits are made soon after 5 April 2026?

2nd ISA/End of Interest Offer
Hi, I have a T212 ISA that is maxed out and the interest offer comes to an end next month. I also have another £20k I want to put in a new ISA for the 2026-2027 tax year. With the existing ISA, I presume I have to wait until the new tax year to open a new account somewhere else and then transfer it? With the new £20k I…

Transfer ISA from T212 to Plum
Hi, my T212 rate is to end next month and I want a good rate for my current ISA and another £20k from April. Am I right in saying I can transfer from T212 to Plum now, and then in April I can add another £20k to Plum on the same rate for the new tax year? Anyone had issues with a transfer this way? Thanks

ISA top up - tax implications
Hi everyone, I have a flexible cash ISA which had around £70K in it early last year but now has more like £20K following some large expenditures. As it is a flexible ISA, I can replace the £50K before the 6th April. I will lose it after that if I haven't replaced the money. My partner (we are not married), has 50K spare.…

Moneybox Interest Rate After 12 Months
My 12 months with a Moneybox instant access isa ends in a few weeks and the bonus is removed, at which point I understand the rate drops to 3.something%. Am I right in thinking that Moneybox do not offer the bonus % to existing customers so that, when the 12 months is up, I will have to look to transfer out to get a higher…

Help understanding how ISA accounts transfer across financial years?
Sorry if this is a really silly question but I’ve read ISA rules on various sites and I’m still not clear on this. I have a cash ISA account for the current tax year 25/26 and I’ve had notification it will mature soon so I should consider transferring it. I have about £12000 in it and want to put a bit more into it before…

New ISA tax year - Easter Monday
I’ve just noticed that the new ISA tax year on April 6th, falls on Easter Monday - Bank Holiday. Does anyone know if this make will affect any transfers made to banks or building societies on that day? ie, will they not be accepted or applied until April 7th. Not a big deal I know, but if there’s no point transferring…

This is Money podcast….
I was listening to this weeks “This is Money” podcast and I heard someone say that from April 2027, any money paid into a S&S ISA, won’t ever be transferable to a cash ISA. Have I heard right, is this correct?
