Plum app cash ISA

I might be showing my age but I just opened a cash ISA on the Plum app. The app shows the cash in my account, but I have no account number or any other personal details. It feels a bit odd not to have something tangible to connect myself to the money. Is that just how it is nowadays? Please tell me I've nothing to worry about..

Quite a few app-based / online only banks don't give you a standard 6-digit sort code and 8-digit account number. A bit disconcerting if that's what you're used to, but nothing to worry about. There will be some kind of account number to identify your account, it just won't be in the form you're used to.

This has also been happening for decades at building societies and smaller savings banks.

With ISAs you always have the ultimate reference that is your NI number.
