Menopause - pins and needles in fingers at night
I assume I'm going through the menopause - I'm 58, still having periods, although not very regularly. During the day I am usually cold even when others are not. At night I am cold when I get into bed. Then I usually wake two/three times and am boiling hot, but not drenched in sweat - just feel like my blood is boiling as…

Sedation / Blood
Hi I'm unsure if this is the correct area of the forum to post, so please move it if this isn't the correct location. My question is for anyone who has experience with sedation via gas, such as Nitrous oxide. I'm having to be put under sedation for tests due to losing consciousness and fitting when these tests have been…

B12 Injections
My better half has B12 injections every 3 months which is free of charge. These take place at the doctor's surgery. Due to the current situation these have been stopped until further notice. She has been told she will have to take tablets for the next six months. However, this means paying approx. £54 over this period.…

Blood blisters
Has anyone else had painless blood blisters on the roof of their mouth. This is my third one in a couple of months. I’ve been aware of it so I’ve been very careful what I eat and I don’t think it’s damage from food. The latest one just felt like a tiny lump on the roof of my mouth but it burst when I pressed it with my…

Blood pressure UK Vs USA - Different guidelines for high bP
England, high BP is 140/90 as high USA had the same figures up until 5/6 years ago and they now deem high BP as 130/85, whereas in England that is deemed as high normal. USA found that the drugs that cost a few pence saves millions of lives. Has England, PHE looked into this and why are our standards lower?

Hand Sanitiser
Hi all. Has anyone been able to get any over the last week or so? If so, from where? They are out of stock everywhere near me. Is it just a case of buying them off eBay or Amazon now? Is there a way of making my own or something similar? I know hand washing with soap and water is the best but it's not always possible.

Hi all, Basically I've been referred to a Tier 3 weight management in Cambridgeshire for my obesity issues. I have an appointment for June 17th (hopefully this Sunday will be the announcement of lockdown being eased). It's a shame really no one told me about the Tier 3 weight management; I had to find the service myself…

Dental treatment in Europe after COVID border lockdowns
There are some flights already, but once it's easier again to fly, I'm planning to have quite extensive dental treatments done abroad. I'm thinking of Hungary, Turkey or Poland so far where I'm happy to travel a few times and enjoy the holiday at the same time. Those who had it before, what are the most important factors…

Best hand cream moisturiser
With the extra hand washing I've been doing recently my hands are now cracked and red raw, I've always normally had issues with dry, chapped hands. What do you guys recommend as a decent hand repair/moisturiser cream, particularly something I can use in the day without leaving greasy marks form whatever I touch.

Along similar lines to their cosmetics clones aldi are now selling an exact replica of boots herbal sleeping tablets at around half the price.
