asda removing option of bags end of july, no alternative offered
Another supermarket doing something stupid, I would be more supportive if they offered a compromise or alternative, instead its just we will remove the option. So my question is if I hand the drivers some bags, ask them to bag up the food and hand me the bagged up food, is that a reasonable request? I dont want drivers in…

Asda Scan and Go?
Can someone explain to me how to use these handsets, please? I tried to use one for the first time yesterday, but I could not work out how to get it to scan anything. I asked a member of staff for help, but she was as much use as a chocolate teapot. Or should I use the app? But I've heard that doesn't work properly if you…

Lidl cut price Easter eggs
Not sure if anybody else has posted about this but Lidl have already reduced many of their Easter eggs. Their own brand such as Hetty the Hen & Larry the Lamb are currently half price at £1.49 & .99p respectively & most of the branded ones are reduced by 30%+. No doubt many of the supermarkets will see themselves with a…

Asda Scan and Go
Hi - can I ask how scan and go works? Do you still have to scan each item when you get to the checkout? It does not seem clear on the Asda website how it actually works. Thanks

Tesco removed items from online delivery.........
I added my cousons address to my list of addresses and was amazed that I was lucky enough to get her a slot. She's self isolating due to age and ill health, lives 80 miles away from me, the slot was a godsend. Anyway I put some items in the basket while on the phone to her, 25 items to be precise. I said to her not to…

Own Brand equivalent to Ritz Crackers
Are there any own brand, e.g. Aldi or Lidl, equivalents to Ritz Crackers? I apologise for asking such a basic question but at present I've vastly reduced my visits to supermarkets, and typically only visit one per shopping journey. So, my normal exhaustive search for products has been curtailed.

Natwest Frauid team block my Morrisons order
I am new to Morrisons online shopping but was lucky enough to have a grocery delivery slot booked both for myself and mum (she's 92). Slot was for tomorrow evening. Morrisons must have just done the picking and tried to process payment and at 12:30am in the morning Natwest block the payment because it's triggered their…

Asda Online Groceries - Overcharged?
Hi Money Savers! We placed an Asda Groceries order last week and had it delivered on Friday; I was just checking my emails when I noticed that only two of the three rejected substitutions had been refunded. I sent them a polite DM on Twitter to get them to check it over and I'm being told that they've already both been…

Tesco increase item 30% so they can label it 'Aldi Price Match'
Dispicable. Tesco Basics/Hearty Food Co. sweet and sour sauce 440g has been 40p or less for years now. I took a pic of it, but the only improvement the new site makes (i.e. the ability to upload direct from your phone) doesn't work. I really despise this new site, and will be posting on it as little as possible.

Asda stopped selling their own cheaper brands?
Whether it is cornflakes, bake beans or whatever I can no longer find Asda own brands or cheaper brands on sale, which normally sell for at least half price. Plenty of bake beans for sale today but they are all Heinz. Now I was reading that supermarkets are cutting back on duplicate products so to ease the supply chain but…

Parsnips and pears, anyone?
Has anyone used this company? They deliver fruit and veg, as their name suggests. I put in an order last Wednesday and got a confirmation email from Shopify. Their website says the delivery day for my area is Saturday. I appreciate they are very busy and it may still arrive today, but I am worried as I tried to log back…

Reusable boil in a bag rice?
Does anyone know where and how you can get re-usable bags for rice? It'd be super useful if you could just keep boiling the same bag, or not so ideally if you can bulk buy x bags that are disposable I've seen some bags, but they're microwave steam bags and it's just never as good as boiled rice
