Quorn sausages - are they extinct?

Anybody know what's happened to the plain ordinary 8-in-a-bag Quorn frozen sausages?  Nobody round here's had any for weeks ...

Yknow it is strange, same here.  In fact many of the quorn range have dissapeared.  I keep putting them on my grocery order but they have been subbed for the last four deliveries - also asda homebrand vegan and vegetarian stuff gets subbed out or not delivered too

I have some in my freezer.   Purchased from Aldi earlier this week.   Not sure whether there are 8 or not - just the usual orange bag.   The choice was that or Southern Fried Nuggets.

Pieces and Mince seemed to be out of stock.

I suspect many of the vegan and vegetarian suppliers are having to cope with greater demand and more volatility in demand and this may be making stocks more variable than they have been.

Farmfoods were doing a big bag of them 2kg I think, around £5. Sorry for vagueness a bag that size lasts me a while

Well, I rang Marlow Foods (the makers) this afternoon, and got a spiel about them being aware that their production of the plain old ordinary Quorn sausages and also the pieces "isn't keeping up with demand" and that they're "working on it" but we won't see an improvement any time soon.  I interpreted this as they're concentrating output on the vegan range, which is no doubt higher profit.  If I'm right, I guess things won't get back to normal until this vegan craze passes ...

I have been noticing bare shelves since earlier this year, I put it down to the veganaury or what ever ot was, but I still find empty freezers, i haven't seen steak pieces for months now, meatballs... last year... no idea why! At least the didn't say that they are discontinued....

The big bags had gone from farm foods yesterday, just the small bags of 8

I had the Linda McCartney vegetarian sausages from Lidl, but they'd disappeared off the shelves when I went to get some more last week.  They're very filling, most delicious, & only 99p for 10.
