I'm out of iso on 5th April, but I don't see myself running to Lidl on account of that weekend's offers.

I personally think all promotions should stop until we're out of the woods. Anything that encourages extra trips outside the home mus be severely discouraged.

I agree people shouldn't be making extra trips, but why shouldn't they take advantage of promotions when shopping anyway?  If all promotions are cancelled it will make people's shopping more expensive, at a time when many people have extra financial pressure.
