How Much does a bag of 70 litres of Compost weigh in Kgs
Can anyone inform me how much a bag of 70 litres of compost weighs in Kgs. I did not hink it is 1 for 1 but I could be incorrect I have a garden truck that takes a maximum weight of 80kg so does that mean it can only safely take on bag of compost that weighs 70 litres.

Fence question
I am designing my garden at the moment, I own the fence to my left and back so not an issue. To my right is the neighbours fence and their responsibility. Their fence has the 'nice side facing their garden' and so I see the 'ugly side' the posts etc. 2 years ago some of their fence was damaged in stormy weather and they…

Chemical-based treatment for moss and weeds
Can anyone suggest a decent chemical-based lawn treatment and fhe best way to go about it? For example, is it better to use a combined weed/feed/mosskiller or do it separately? I don't mind a bit of physical work but there's too much of it to hand weed/rake and I won't be peeing in the garden. I've read the similarly…

Building up rockery on the cheap?
Hi all, We've had our rockery now for a few years and I've been piling up compost every year but the anti-weed covering we placed underneath it all keeps getting exposed and also means that plants are uprooting. What cheap ways can we build it back up again? I'd rather not get bags and bags of compost again... Thanks!

Badger problem
I have a badger visiting my driveway on a regular basis. It occasionally leaves a smelly little present but apart from that it's not a problem. Until last night. low lying architectural planting
Hiya, need some ideas for quality architectural planting in a prominent position at front of house. However due to the layout nothing growing tall will do. Up to 0.5m should be OK. I was thinking some grasses, phormiums and possibly yucca but need some inspiration. Low maintenance would be helpful Thanks for any ideas
