Anyone else sick and tired of holes in bread and apples in supermarkets ?
Im sick and tired of seeing lots of bread with at least one tiny hole in the plastic so it goes off very soon, and I'm fed up of buying packs of 4 big apples so when you open them, two of the apples have a hole in, you can't check the apples properly before buying because the wrapping hides the holes or bruises. People are…

Water Filter cartridges
We’ve always used Brita cartridges in our water filter jug but since they went ‘green’ with a new filling they don’t last five minutes and the price is ridiculous. We’ve tried a couple of cheaper generic ones but honestly I could have knitted the Forth Bridge waiting for water to filter through one and the other just…

Sainsbury’s Christmas club card
Hi, to use the Sainsbury’s Christmas club as payment method online, it requests to enter the name on the card - there is no name on the card as it’s a club card and I’m struggling to register my card. Didn’t have that issue in previous years, I think it didn’t need the name then. I have tried my name, Christmas club card…

Laundry detergent alternatives?
We've always used the big value 4.5l Ariel laundry detergent. We end up doing at least 1 load a day, with dogs and 2 small boys, everything gets muddy especially this time of year! We also live in a hard water area so end up using about 100ml per load in the larger 9kg drum and heavily soiled items. This means we are…

Morrisons More Points
Hi All, I scan my Morrisons more card everytime I shop there and never get any rewards points. Initially thought it worked like Tesco where you get a point for every pound you spend. On the website it says "More Points - Earn More Points when you buy selected products in store, online, and on every litre of fuel. When you…

Where can I buy strawberries from which you can easily remove the stalks?
When I was in Australia some years ago I remember you could just pull the stem of a strawberry out by the leaves. It was great. I can't ever do this in the UK - the leaves just come off. Do any supermarkets in the UK stock the superior Australian version?

Heinz Baked Beans - Food Warehouse
These were £3.75 for a pack of six today (£3.38 with the Over-60's discount). Works out at around £0.56 a tin (with the discount) the cheapest I've seen them for a very long time (just checked online, normal price for one tin is £1.40!)
