Tesco Clubcard points for empty printer cartridges
Wasn’t sure where to post this, but I discovered the other day that Tesco give you up to 125 Clubcard points for eligible empty printer cartridges, which they then recycle. I got 250 extra points for my two HP ones. Better than a poke in the eye, as my mum would have said!

Tesco ‘finest’ sausages
I’ve noticed apart from being pale, pallid and not browning when cooked. Tesco sausages now contain bamboo fibre!!! Incidentally they taste disgusting 🤢 can humans digest bamboo fibre? This product is probably a good example of UPF (ultra processed food) and how bad it is for your gut!

First (and last) purchase from Amazon Fresh
In a spirit of adventure I deviated from the Tesco meal deal this lunchtime on Canary Wharf to attempt the Amazon Fresh experience there. The instructions going into the store were clear: swipe your contactless on entry; pick up a paper bag; put your shopping into the bag; and on leaving the store your account will be…

Value laundry powder.
I’m thinking of downshifting our washing powder to a value/ essentials one. Does anyone find them to be any good and which one do you use. Tesco Value Asda essentials Morrisons savers etc. I know it’s only £2-3 a box but that’s a lot of pennies if it’s not good at all so wanting to get opinions before I buy one. Thankyou.

A refund of delivery charged was mentioned but not received. Attempts to contact them my emailing customer service and filling in online form have have received no reply.…

Delivered prawn pasta ready meal 10 days out of date
Delivered prawn pasta ready meal 10 days out of date. Contacted customer services at Sainsburys who are looking into it but will there be a record of the expiry details their end? Still got the product and was hoping to try it in date. What will come of this? Surely they'll refund or replace at the very least?

McVities Milk Chocolate Digestive - Online Shopping
Question??? Why does the Sainsburys Big Value Family Pack contain 2x316g @ 55p/100g and the apparently identical Morrisons Big Value Family Pack only contain 2x266g @ 49.8/100g Is it no wonder that food prices are increasing if manufacturers have to pander to the whims of the major supermarkets?

DO YOU WANT YOUR RECEIPT..........
...........is a question I'm always asked at Aldis and Lidls. And after being overcharged a few times mainly on the numbers of an item I've bought, the answer as far as I'm concerned must always be "OF COURSE I DO".

Delivery upset
The delivery driver for an online shop via Sainsbury's abused me at my doorstep and promptly took my shopping away. He reported the incident on his return to shop saying I abused him and they will do nothing to help me over my shock and vulnerability following this delivery. I am disabled and was sitting in my flat…

Tesco Saving Stamps will be no more
Apologises if someone else has raised this - but did anyone else know that Tesco are stopping their saving stamps. The last day to buy any will be the 16th October 2023 and the last day to use them will be the 31st December 2023. I know these are a bit old fashioned but do we know what the reasoning is behind getting rid…

Refunds on food
I use Milk & More, ASDA, Iceland, Ocado, plus Waitrose and Sainsbury's occasionally. This is MSE so most people probably do try to get refunds on missing items, unacceptable substitutes, damaged produce etc. If you don't, please DO ! I had £22.48 refunded so far this month and that's enough for 24 Aberdeen Angus beef…

What is Costco good value for?
We used to go to Costco purely for meat and huge supplies is toilet roll, then get the rest of the items from Asda. As time has gone on we appear now to be getting the entire weekly shop from Costco. Must admit I'm not convinced we're saving on most of our items so thought I'd ask on here if anyone has done any comparisons…
