Nut Allergy sufferers Beware- Fin Carre Chocolate mis-labelled

Hello!
I just wanted to make a post to warn any fellow nut allergy sufferers who shop at Lidl. I wanted to make some brownies and so needed some baking chocolate. The selection at Lidl is unfortunately quite limited so I didn't have much of a choice but to buy the 'Fin Carre Milk Cooking Chocolate'. To my surprise upon having a nibble before baking, as we do, I noticed my throat and mouth became itchy- the initial symptoms of my allergic reactions. I double checked the ingredients list, as I did when I initially bought it, but no mention of any nuts. I presumed it may have been contamination, as they always mention, but still was confused as I always consume chocolates that state 'may contain nuts' as I know this is just for their protection and the likelihood of it actually containing nuts is low. Nonetheless, I try the other pack and (surprise!) I experienced another allergic reaction. Luckily, I am not anaphylactic and my allergic reactions are typically rarely super severe, however, God-forbid the outcome could have been way worse. I did some research online and found that Lidl had actually previously recalled this brand for issues with nut allergens. The issue was that the use of almond paste was not stated in the ingredients section...and I believe this is the same issue reoccurring. When searching for the ingredients online (on websites other than Lidl) I am able to find that it does indeed contain almond paste. I'm not sure the sequence of events that led to the mis-labelling at Lidl...however, please be very careful. I have submitted a customer complaint/feedback form (which states I should receive a response within 24 hours- it has been 4 days), but I doubt anything will actually be done unless it is escalated.

Stay safe!

Honestly! I am so shocked that a big supermarket company like Lidl does not handle such serious complaints with better timing or caution
