Waitrose Almost Crossing a Line
Christmas special offer for Spanish Tapas £8 each or 2 for £12. That was the enticing strap line. Tried 3 stores all of whom had identical Christmas Offer displays. Tapas platters in identical packaging costing £11 right next to where the 2 for £12 should have been and actually on the same shelf adjacent the promotional 2…

Sainsbury's Smartshop and giftcards
I've been using the Sainsbury's Smartshop app for a while now, and finding it useful. Normally I go to the self-checkout terminals, scan the QR code there, and then proceed to pay there by scanning a gift card which is stored in my Google Pay wallet (I have a lot of giftcards!). But today, I went into a store and it was…

Because of my eyes, I can no longer drive, I cook for myself, up until last year I used to go to Sainsbury's and M&S, this was about two or three times a week, I live near a bus stop and each journey took about 2 hours. The bus service which was every quarter of any hour became irregular and indeed became every three…

Expired Cognac?
Hi, not sure if this the correct place to post this, sorry. I bought a 70cl bottle of Martell Cognac in the run up to Christmas 2020 to give as a gift, but that went awry and never happened. I forgot about it last Christmas and it remained in storage. I would like to give it this Christmas as a gift but am unsure whether…

Ready Christmas dinner ready for heating
For a reason I don't wish to go into, I want to be able to obtain a Christmas Turkey Dinner for one, ready to heat in the microwave or oven like any other ready meal. Can anyone tell me where I might get such a thing. I can obviously get roast chicken dinners from Sainsburys or places like that but not quite the same. Any…

This doesn't seem right JS
I shop on line at Sainsburys each week. Never do this normally but today before logging in, checked the price of Sprite, £1.25 on offer. I then logged in booked a slot for next Wednesday and added the bottle of Sprite, now the price has come up at £2 instead of £1.25. Why isn't it £1.25 am I paying more to shop online?

Sainsbury's Price matching Aldi
Im excited to see Sainsbury's are price matching Aldi. I do my shopping and was wondering about Sainsbury's substitution policy. From the way I understand it if I buy something for £1 but its subbed for something that costs £2 I have to pay the extra £1 but then get that back in vouchers? So I am paying them an extra £1…

Several of my friends and myself applied for the £30 vouchers offered by Iceland in August. It is now December and I do not know anyone who has received a voucher and have been into Iceland and asked and the…
