Farmfoods is opening a new store in Canterbury on 2nd December. Providing that there's parking, I am going to dispatch husband to have a nose, soon afterwards.
Will they do new store offers ? Are there things I should look out for ?
I'm keen to find cheap unbreaded fish and seafood, gluten free sausages, Parma ham ?? and pineapple chunks/juice.
Thanks in advance

I do know they sell butter for £1.29, 200g."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "1

I think their prices and range are the same everywhere so I doubt you will get any store specific deals.
It's worth signing up for their newsletters to be alerted of short term deals and to get better money-off vouchers. I think these have a min spend of £30 (£2.50 off)
I regularly buy their butter, and Cheddar cheese, and keep my eyes open for things at silly prices.e.g. Passata is something like 3 cartons for £1 at the moment2 -

Just had a new store here first part of this year it’s well worth a try. Lots of specials that are get them while you can lots of big branded tinned things way cheaper than Tesco etc also they now have big name electricals on offer too recent one was Kitchen Aid. In my opinion and it upset someone on here once the Farm Food branded mince Steak Chicken etc is pretty poor mine went in the dog also fruit and veg quality is not so good but I did get a sack of excellent onions last week so maybe that is on the up. Anyway enjoy.3

Farmfoods is like Iceland on steroids - I estimate 95% to be UPF, and given how particular you are about what you eat @MrsStepford you are unlikely to find much to your liking. But as has been said, there are good non-food deals to be had at times. No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.2 -

Have you not had a leaflet through the door yet. Whilst they are not as good as they were, used to be £5 off if spend £25 but the last one was a much bigger spend, if you have enough to buy it could help. If the items are what you want then the prices are good & I think that is the major question. Nothing to stop you browsing & it could be worth it.

You made me giggle @Rosa_Damascena, with "Iceland on steroids". I do buy a few things from Iceland actually. Do have to be careful about nasties though.
No leaflets through the door yet @badmemory but maybe I have premature leaflet fretting ?
Wish I had known about the Kitchen Aid offer @PLRFD !!
Thanks for the parking tip @molerat that's a relief. Sure OH will know where Lidl was.
That's a really bargain price for butter @sammyjammygreat for the bakers amongst us.
Yes @fatbelly the whole idea is to have a nose and snap up some bargains. That's also a bit of de-stressing for husband to trundle round with trolley or basket. He's really good at finding bargains. Thursday evening he came home with 2 Gressingham duck legs from Lidl, 2 for 3.99. He roasted them tonight with sautéed leeks and mushrooms.1 -
I stocked up on 15 kg bags of Harrington’ dog food a while ago which were a few quid cheaper there than anywhere else at the time. It was a one off after though, it’s not something they have in regularly.I don’t really use farmfoods much because I don’t buy frozen stuff, and it tends to be more the cheap and cheerful end of the scale but it’s worth a mooch if there is an offer in there that looks interesting. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -
They are currently doing cat food pouches ...box of 12 for £2.59. They are called Pamper. The packs have a variety of flavours in each box, and you can choose between 'Gravy' or 'jelly. 85g pouches. The cats usually only way Whiskas or Felix but seem very happy with these.1
