350g cheese for £1.79. Good prices on butter and spreads. Chiller cabinet usually contains some good buys. It can be a bit random but well worth a look1

Yes in the chiller they have a brand of potted dog can’t remember the name but it’s cheaper than Binghams and just about as good.1

Are you absolutely sure?Yes, we had tins of corned dog*, and I still do*BeefEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens2 -
I made a typo and put roast peasant not pheasant. Got loads of replies on Twitter and husband has called pheasant peasant ever since. My youngest cousin called dachshunds hot dog dogs as a child. Potted dog takes the Bonio though.3

In our house it was 'spag dog' for spag bol. Peasant not pheasant too. Also - snake and pygmy pie/pud.I removed the shell from my racing snail, but now it's more sluggish than ever.2

Hehe I like snake and pygmy pie @YoungBlueEyes shame I don't like the actual thing.1

No leaflets through the door yet @badmemory but maybe I have premature leaflet fretting ?
Wish I had known about the Kitchen Aid offer @PLRFD !!
Thanks for the parking tip @molerat that's a relief. Sure OH will know where Lidl was.
That's a really bargain price for butter @sammyjammygreat for the bakers amongst us.
Yes @fatbelly the whole idea is to have a nose and snap up some bargains. That's also a bit of de-stressing for husband to trundle round with trolley or basket. He's really good at finding bargains. Thursday evening he came home with 2 Gressingham duck legs from Lidl, 2 for 3.99. He roasted them tonight with sautéed leeks and mushrooms.1
