Help! Can’t collect ASDA click and collect order!

Booked my ASDA click and collect order late last night for 9am this morning. Overnight, daughter has developed a really bad diarrhoea and vomiting bug and is on the toilet every 10 minutes. No one else can go and collect. What will happen if I don’t collect? Panicking!

 Call a taxi and ask them to collect they will do that here.

What happened in the end?

I have ordered from Asda click and collect precisely once. The electronic feedback indicated much of what I wanted was out of stock and substituted with stuff I didn't want, so I called to cancel and was assured it would be actioned.

Half and hour after the scheduled delivery slot, I received a chaser call from the store itself. Turns out that no such message had been communicated, and this was NOT a rare occurrence. I apologised for putting the instore team out - it was a waste of their time after all - but mentally resolved that click and collect was not for me. By that time I'd gone to another supermarket and bought exactly what I wanted).
