Discovered I’d been paying monthly for a Asda food delivery charge that I didn’t set up

Because I shop quite often at Asda I hadn’t noticed on my bank statement until recently Asda had been charging me monthly for a delivery charge I hadn’t set up or used. This goes back for a year . I contacted Asda they told me they would investigate . I contacted Asda again and was told my complaint  was forwarded to another team but they will not answer my request for a refund .

  • Sounds early days. If you don't hear in a week or so, chase them up.

    You must of noticed that your delivery was free? 
    You should of also got an email with Xmas slots for delivery saver customers 
    They also email when renewal is due and you say it’s been a year already. 

    Personally I find the deliver saver a bargain as I get deliveries each week. 

    They may be looking into how many free deliveries you have had to compare with what you paid for your pass. 

    As morningcoffee says above, it’s still early days so give them some time to investigate.

    From what the OP has said I don’t think they’ve been getting online deliveries but have been charged for slots.

    "*If your pass doesn't cost less than the full price of the slots you book during the time it's active, we'll automatically add an eVoucher for the difference to your account. If you have a 6 or 12 month Anytime Delivery Pass and you choose to cancel your pass before the end of the pass Period, you will not qualify for the saving guarantee."

    So I think give them time and then check your Asda account, especially note the cancel early bit, no refunds
