Buying from a different country

Hey, 

I'm not exactly sure where this could go. Mods please delete or move if not satisfied. 

I've searched the UK gov site and but couldn't find a specific answer for it. 

Here is the situation. I order from a German company they are called ESN and are a Gym and Health supplement company. I order the usual stuff protein bars powders etc. However, I also order these melatonin pills. I used to be so bad at sleeping and these quite literally have changed my life. Problem is now this German company has removed them from the UK section on the site now. 

On the UK govs website I understand I could go over to Germany purchase these and then bring them back with me no problems. Instead of this would it be fine if I buy these get them sent to someone who lives over in Germany and then have them send them to me?

Melatonin is a prescription only medication in the UK 

Only licensed medical professionals, labs and pharmacies are allowed to send prescription medicines by post in the UK and so if you got a random person to post them to you then you are at risk that the parcel is confiscated and you lose its content.

Pistachios are high in melatonin and they zonk me out. Dr Stephen Gundry MD has a video about them, on YouTube.
