Waitrose's adding more non alcoholic drinks
Waitrose makes major change in stores across the UK (msn.com) In this article it explains that Waitrose is reacting to the demand for more non alcoholic drinks by adding space in it's "alcohol" department for non alcoholic beer, wine and spirits. Furthermore the article states "Waitrose noted 99 per cent of UK shoppers buy…

Three million Tesco shoppers have Clubcard vouchers expiring on 31 August, here's how to extend them
Three million Tesco Clubcard holders need to spend £11.5 million worth of vouchers before they expire at the end of this month. Alternatively, if you'd rather hang on to the vouchers, we've got a trick to extend their validity beyond 31 August. Three million Tesco shoppers have Clubcard vouchers expiring on 31 August –…

McVities Milk Chocolate Digestive - Online Shopping
Question??? Why does the Sainsburys Big Value Family Pack contain 2x316g @ 55p/100g and the apparently identical Morrisons Big Value Family Pack only contain 2x266g @ 49.8/100g Is it no wonder that food prices are increasing if manufacturers have to pander to the whims of the major supermarkets?

DO YOU WANT YOUR RECEIPT..........
...........is a question I'm always asked at Aldis and Lidls. And after being overcharged a few times mainly on the numbers of an item I've bought, the answer as far as I'm concerned must always be "OF COURSE I DO".

Delivery upset
The delivery driver for an online shop via Sainsbury's abused me at my doorstep and promptly took my shopping away. He reported the incident on his return to shop saying I abused him and they will do nothing to help me over my shock and vulnerability following this delivery. I am disabled and was sitting in my flat…

Tesco Saving Stamps will be no more
Apologises if someone else has raised this - but did anyone else know that Tesco are stopping their saving stamps. The last day to buy any will be the 16th October 2023 and the last day to use them will be the 31st December 2023. I know these are a bit old fashioned but do we know what the reasoning is behind getting rid…

Refunds on food
I use Milk & More, ASDA, Iceland, Ocado, plus Waitrose and Sainsbury's occasionally. This is MSE so most people probably do try to get refunds on missing items, unacceptable substitutes, damaged produce etc. If you don't, please DO ! I had £22.48 refunded so far this month and that's enough for 24 Aberdeen Angus beef…

Morrisons - Doorstep Adjustments
Fixed amount of £5 on every order now, anyone a clue what this exactly means and do they refund it if no higher price substitutions? On my last order its almost 10% on top of the order.

What is Costco good value for?
We used to go to Costco purely for meat and huge supplies is toilet roll, then get the rest of the items from Asda. As time has gone on we appear now to be getting the entire weekly shop from Costco. Must admit I'm not convinced we're saving on most of our items so thought I'd ask on here if anyone has done any comparisons…

Protein puddings
New products on me, bought on offer from Iceland 4 for £3. Nestlé Lindahls Protein Pudding Chocolate 140g 87.3% skimmed milk, milk protein, reduced fat cocoa powder 2%, modified maize starch, thickened (pectin), sweeteners (acesulfame k, sucralose). Not keen on the maize starch and sweeteners but the rest of the…

Squash with sugar?
Not sure if this is in the right place, but anyone know any squash or cordial without sweeteners? I drink water because sweetners give me the nastiest taste in my mouth, but my son won't and he isn't enjoying the taste of sweetners either. I can literally only find Vimto that's not sugar free 🙄

Anyone tried Motatos (online supermarket)?
Claims to save products from going to landfill for things like damaged packaging, and claims you can get up to 60% off groceries. I see it's been mentioned a few times on this board, but without much detail. Anyone got experiences to share? Thank you.

Real Butter
Can anyone tell the difference between butters from branded to non branded or the special ones. I tired the Lidl special one (think it was West Country & Sea Salt) and found I just can't tell the difference between any of them. So wondering if other people can? I know the fake butters (spread) will have different taste as…

Sainsbury's Smartshop - little use any more?
So I just went into Sainsbury's for a shop. And for the last couple of years I have been using their smartshop app, mainly because it gave me discounts on a number of items. But now the discounts it lists all seem to be Nectar prices, which are available without using the app, and are displayed on the shelves anyway. So is…

Holland and Barrett Offers
Not sure if it's all shops but my local H&B has a lot of it's own Foodstuffs heavily reduced up to 90% off. Apparently they are rebranding their food lines - I did notice last week that some items I use regularly were marked down to half price on the Shelf end, but just thought they were end of line. Went in today and a…

Iceland App Glitch *Be Warned*
Hi, Just to make anyone who uses the Iceland app aware of quite a big glitch. After you've selected your items and are checking out you're asked to book delivery. After booking delivery your basket cost amount changes quite drastically. This is because once you've booked delivery the app forgets about the multi-buy…

Has anyone heard of boxsaver?
I've been making orders online using Asda and having them delivered to my son in uni accommodation - just want to be sure he's eating something! I found https://boxsaver.com/ who say they are 20% cheaper than the major supermarkets, I was just wondering if anyone had used them or anything before I give them a go?
