Buying bags of old watches
Do local charity shops sell joblot bags of watches? Wouldn't be something on display but the major charities do sell watches like this on their ebay auction sites. Looking for a regular supply of old watches.

Info printed on Royal Mail Tracked 48 return label
Not sure if this is the right board or not, but before I return something using one of the above labels I'd like to know what the different numbers on the label mean because I want to reference them in a covering letter. For example, is the tracking number on there? If so, is it the number under the barcode in the top…

ebay closed a return too early and refusing to reopen it
Hi I bought a console sold as fully working. It arrived and was not only defective but was also loaded with a lot of 'jailbreak' firmware and pirated software. I opened a return. Seller ignored it so ebay stepped in after a few days and gave me to the 20th January to return it, I got the royal mail QR code as per usual and…

Ebay - Royal Mail collection no longer an option?
I've just listed 2 items on Ebay and in the postage options there was no option for Royal Mail collection. I've used this in the past and found it very useful as I can't get out much.Has this option been removed now? Or is it not appearing for certain items? I'm selling a couple of shirts.

Now I'm confused about ebay fees - does free not always mean free?
I'd understood that for the last few months private sellers have paid no ebay fees either for listing or as final value fees, unless you add the optional extras like reserve prices, subtitles etc. I've listed a few items recently, the latest one was snapped up at a Buy It Now price by someone in the USA (paying £15 for the…

Commemorative coins
I have about 25 commemorative coins as collected by my late father. The type of thing you see advertised on TV or in Daily Mail. Are they worth anything? Any advice on how to sell them or even if that is possible? I know it will depend what they are but assuming there are no very rare/ valuable coins.

Buying a collection in person item
I'm tempted to bid (about £90) on a child's bike, marked as collection in person. The photo is not that detailed and the description just says 'used'. If I won the item, would I have to pay for it before going to see it? I assume it would be functional, but if it was rusty, scratched etc, would I be able to reject it, and…

Is a plunge circular saw considered a 'bladed' item with RM?
I've had a look through RM's new bladed policy for sending such an article but can't see if a cordless circular saw is included. Anyone sent anything like this? I've sent plenty of similar saws and also drills but not something which has a 10'' blade. If not, what couriers would anyone recommend? There's quite a lot of…

Sold an item, proof of delivery...but not to buyer.
Hi guys, what will happen here? So I sold a £200 item on ebay for £100. First of all the shipping option I selected was too small when I got to the post office so had no real choice other than to buy a bigger shipping option when I was there...admittedly my fault. Attempted to claim for unused label however (maybe cause…

Ebay dispute
I'm a private seller, I sell loads of used and to be honest at least half of it is broken things, all my listings have 5-15 photos and are always described accurately, what you see is what you get. I also don't accept returns. last week I had a buyer message about one of my items they bought asking for a return on a £5…

Changes to 'used' categories for clothes
Introducing new conditions for pre-loved clothing ... - UK eBay Community I think a lot of clothes sellers will welcome this change as it is something they have been asking for for a while. It is a minor change, it just allows a range of options for 'used' which will make things easier for buyers to search.
