New Account On Credit Report - Even after Cancelling within 14 days
A number of months ago, I decided to try using what I thought was a pay as you go sim card for data. As it turned out, it was a pay monthly account I opened, which included a hard search and a new account on my credit reports (from all credit scoring agencies). I very early on realized this was not the SIM card for me, and…

Credit rating following Covid lockdown
I have two points I would like to raise. 1) She is using a financial "advisor" who has
already fleeced her for £250 for nothing, the mortgage offer is still not in
place. I did not think that these people charged for their services and made a
living on commission from lenders. 2) She is self-employed and had a car on…

I can't get my credit score
For the 1st time, I've tried to get my credit score online. None of the sites I tried (excluding ones who want a Free 14/30 day trial as I would forget to cancel it) seemed to recognise me - won't accept an accurate e-mail or they ask me security questions that don't even apply to me. I am on the electoral register…

I have signed up for alerts with all the agencies in anticipation of getting a mortgage two years ago. I noticed recently that my Equifax score was quite low. Three
Hi all, I really don't know what to do and would be very appreciative of suggestions. I cancelled a three contract within the cooling off period, three's error meant that they thought I owed then for the contract and since February I have been chased by debt collectors. I've spoken to 5/6 different advisors who always tell…

Stopping monthly defaults when a payment plan is agreed
Hello everyone I have a few old credit cards that I defaulted on several years ago. I just noticed on that on the payment history section, it lists them as still defaulting every month. I have had payment plans set up for several years, so I am surprised to see that these still classed as ‘defaulted’. So I am curious - is…
