Default still visible after six years

I have a default dated 15th December 2017 still visible on Experian.  Yet Experian say default are removed after six years.  It has been removed from Clearscore and Credit Karma.

Anyone know why this might be?

Are you viewing your file in real time or the monthly update?

If you're seeing your report on one of the free to access platforms - it might take a couple of additional weeks to update, however the 'live view' that lenders see will likely have already been updated.

I guess I"m looking at a monthly update, so it will disappear when it updates.

I have this issue with Equifax but they’ve resolved it now - I was viewing my report with them directly.
