Scammed
Anyone know how I can get my money back? Someone on Etsy was pretending to be customer support and I was selling something on Etsy at the time. Said to receive the payment from the product, I needed to have £300 in my Revolut account and had to verify with them. They said it wouldn’t cost me anything but they’ve taken the…

Cash interest repayment
I lost my debit card in the lead up to Christmas and knew I would need some cash for a few outings and presents, so I withdrew a lot of cash from my credit card (more than I actually needed) and made a repayment to my card to cover the whole amount. I made the repayment pretty quickly because the terms of the card say…

How is interest calculated on credit cards....
Quick question. I have a balance on a credit card (I normally pay off in full each month, before you ask :D ). I paid a substantial amount off the balance by the payment due date. I then was able to pay a further large amount off a few days after the payment date (so a good three weeks before the next payment date). I…

Santander CC stops working - yet again
For the fourth time in under a year the chip on my CC has failed totally - no contactless, no PIN. The latest card has lasted under a month. Other cards have lasted years without problems. Has anyone else had similar problems - and have they rectified them without getting a CC with another provider.

What are your thoughts on closing all…

Pending transaction disappeared
I’ve made a fairly large purchase using a credit card for a TV. I made the purchase on a Thursday and they said delivery would be the following Thursday. So the charge was showing as pending for 3 days, then the charge disappeared but my available balance was still lower (taking the amount into consideration). I had the TV…

Multiple 0% interest balances -- why isn't MBNA crediting payments against them in order of expiry?
I have two 0% promotional rate balances on my MBNA credit card. One of the promotional rates expires in March and the other expires in August. I have over the past few months been making payments to MBNA on this card, and I assumed that they'd credit my payments against the balance where the 0% rate expires in March.…
