Patchwork memory quilt
I am looking for someone to make a patchwork memory quilt out of some clothes, I have looked online and found a couple of companies that can do it bit I do wonder if they are charging the price because they know it's a special thing rather than the actual cost to make it. So my question is if I didn't go with one of these…

knitting query
I'm knitting squares for a charity and using the odd balls of wool I've got lying around the house. The stitch I'm using is the double knit stitch - i.e. Knit 1 slip 1 purl wise for row 1 and the row 2 is knit 1 purl 1. I'm unsure though which row I should change colours on ...anyone help?

Making Christmas presents?
So I've just started a Dmp and told pretty much all my friends that I'm going to be pretty skint for the next few years clearing these past mistakes up, so I wondered just how bad is it really to give someone something you've made?. I'm trying to become an author and write constantly in my spare time, I love it. Would it…

Paper Trimmer Recommendations
Hi I've had a paper trimmer from Ryman's which is several years old now. The mat is very scratched along the cutting line, and I can't find any replacement mats so I think it's time for a new trimmer. I would be particularly interested in a trimmer that will let me cut a square out of the middle of card or paper. I've seen…
