Help needed with a crochet pattern

My mum is stuck on the following section (neck shaping). She can't work it out and also said she has no idea what the section of the pattern achieves so doesn't know what it should look like.

Hopefully your mum has managed to work it out now but if not it seems to be the neck shaping for a round neck

If you were knitting you would cast off 3 or 4 stitches on the first row then knit two together at the neck edge on the next two rows. This would give a gentle curve to the front neck

1st row - working to the last 3 or 4 stitches and turning is the equivalent to casting off the stitches in knitting

2nd row - You are decreasing one stitch at the beginning of the row (The yoh in the next two stitches is the decrease stitch)

3rd row - you are working to the end then decreasing one stitch

Once the decreases are done just work backwards and forwards until the same length as the back, it should look like a gentle curve at the neck edge of the front

Thanks for the reply, I completely forgot I posted this! I managed to find a crochet-along guide on google that had pics so she managed to work it out in the end. Thanks and Happy New Year to you
