Chronomics - can a family member use the test I bought but no longer need?
I realise the best people to answer this question are Chronomics, but it's not in their FAQs, they aren't answering any emails, and their phone line doesn't connect. I had a trip booked which I can no longer take, and have bought various Covid tests which I no longer need. These tests were bought for a Tui trip in June…

Isolation question
My daughter (who doesn't live with me) tested positive for Covid on Sunday. As i had close contact with her on the Friday i received a text from test and trace telling me to isolate until 26th July. (which i am) I know that if i test positive then my isolation will start agin from that day. What i'm confused about is that…

Frontline health and care staff can work rather than self-isolate question.
I have been told to isolate as someone i live with has tested positive for corona virus. The new rules say i can return to work if i test negative with a pcr test but i must continue to isolate when at home from work. My job requires me to support people out of their home for exercise or shopping for example. My question…

Travelling to Spain
Hi, I am also travelling to Spain next week – and need clarification of this information. We are a family of four, 2 double jabbed adults, one 5-year-old and one baby. As I understand it, we don’t need to test prior to leaving the UK. The adults need to take a test two days before departure from Spain – this can be a rapid…

Indian batch of Astra Zeneca vaccine
Hi I have read a couple of articles about how EU countries won't accept a certificate of vaccination if one of them was from some specific batches that had been produced by an EU unregistered company in India. Of course, one of the people I would plan to fly with has had one of their vaccinations from one of these batches.…

My 2020/2021 turnover is higher than the previous year, but my earnings (without SEISS) are much lower as I had large expenses, some directly linked to covid. My earnings between May and September are very reduced compared to previous years. As this grant is…

Boots lost my pre-departure PCR test
I've just returned from a long-postponed visit to family in Ireland (great) but my carefully planned travel turned into a nightmare thanks to the incompetence of Boots PCR testing and their associated lab. The Irish government currently requires a negative PCR test result within 72 hours of departure so I paid £85 to have…

Day 2 Test
Can anyone help? If I’ve had both jabs and return from an Amber country then I think I’m correct in saying that I only need a test on/before day 2. Problem is I tested positive on July 6th and they tell you not to have another PCR test for 90 days? So what test do I do on return before day 2?Thanks

Holiday Refund
Last year we booked a holiday with USAirtours. Although we didn't cancel it and decided to take it over to this year, we have now decided that as America is not letting tourists in not to go. Scotland or England Rules for Return Travel Covid Tests?
Hi All, Just wanted to get some thoughts on this. We live in Scotland but are travelling to Greece through Newcastle Airport - do we need to buy the Day 2 Covid test via the Scottish Government approved supplier (CTM) or are we allowed to use one of the (cheaper) UK Government Approved companies? Just for clarity, we are…
