I had a holiday booked in June 2020 which I paid for in November 2019. I have had an absolute nightmare for over a year trying to get my money back from Teletext. So yesterday I finally got a refund but then 5 minutes later another refund for the same amount popped into my account. I have absolutely no intention of spending or keeping the extra money I would just like to know where I stand in keeping it for as long as possible and charging them admin fees and payment for my 10’s of hours on the phone and hundreds of emails? I know it’s petty but they have been terrible for the past year and I haven’t had a single returned phone call or reply to an email.

    Send the money back...
  • Keep the money in a separate account. Do not spend it for at least 6 yrs.

As for billing them I think you're whistling in the wind for that - but given teletext's reputation, pandemic or no pandemic, I'd say you were lucky to get one amount back

I would keep it until they ask for it, but beware they have 6 years so don't spend it until then.
