Zen Internet
I have received multiple ISP letters telling me that full-fibre broadband is ready. I ordered Fibre 900 from Zen on 1 October. Openreach installed a 50-meter fibre from the pavement to my home on 16 October. The fibre is now one metre from my nose, and yet the best date from Zen for completion of the job is 23 November.…

Free Landline Number Calls From My PC?
Is there a way to call customer service numbers for free from my PC? My mobile PAYG per minute rate is extortionate (30p/min) so being on hold is not an option. Wondering what alternatives are out there?

Social tariff - tax credits
Tried to get the bt home essentials but as we are on child/working tax credits application was rejected as benefit can’t be verified by them. Spoke to bt advisor, nothing they can do it has to be verified by dwp, ( it’s a common problem that apparently dwp can deal with)- neither advisor at dwp or tax credits knew what the…

Vodafone Superfast 1 contract commenced today - Problems already!
My TalkTalk 38Mb Broadband ended last night and my Vodafone Superfast 1 contract started this morning in place of it. I connected the router up about 7:30am before I left for work. I don't know why it is but I've always had problems with the 2.4GHz signal on any router I've had with whichever ISP I've been with. The 5GHz…

Best broadband & SIM only deal to choose?
I've recently bought my first home in the countryside. It therefore has poor signal where I live (Virtually no 4G mobile data). I'm a moneysaver and not a spender. I initially chose a 15GB SIM only for £8 a month. I also chose a 36mpbs broadband for £20 a month with the same provider. However since i chose the SIM only…

Any broadband contracts that have no cancellation fee for moving out?
I think the answer to this is 'no' but is anyone aware of any broadband provider who will allow a cancellation because you move out of the house? Note that I am not moving to another property where I need broadband so a transfer to a new address is not what I am after - I'm looking to take out a contract that I can cancel…

Vodafone better offers?
Been with Vodafone for about a year now, and I just noticed the same 200mbps is £30, whilst I am paying £34.50. Doesn't sound like much but I always think yearly I could save £50 or so. Does anyone have any idea how to get Vodafone to match their current price? I am going to call them up eventually but I know it takes ages…

How do I stop VM charging me £63...? (SOLVED)
Hi, I got an email from Virgin Media saying my £39 broadband was going up to £63 after Nov 3rd, after the 18 month "discount" ends. So I thought No problem. I will start a new contract and new "discount". But they say they want £59.00 a month even though new customers only pay £34. So I am leaving VM. But they say I have…

I've just changed ISP to G.Network. I need to change the server details on my email settings which are currently those of my old ISP. Vodafone or Now?
Looking at moving away from BT as my contract is up in a few days and I'm paying way over the odds and they don't seem to want to come down much. It appears that Vodafone and Now Broadband offer some of the cheaper deals at the moment, so any thoughts on them please? Or reasons I should stay away from either/both?

TalkTalk price increase
I recently got an email from TalkTalk stating that my broadband and tv package would be going up again. Contacted them on chat and it turns out it’s not within the contract for them to do this (they can increase it only annually though which they already have done). Anybody else faced with this increase should get in touch…

Shell broadband charging £35 for supposedly not returning router
They offered me a really good fibre deal rather than that I should leave for something cheaper... now have debited me £35 claiming I haven't returned the router. Feels like an outright scam to me (I have proof of posting). Anyone else had this?
