Social tariff Vodafone

Has anyone used the 73mb social tariff with Vodafone? I saw it advertised in the mse latest email but I called Vodafone and they only seem to be aware of the 34mb speed on the social tariff. That’s far too slow for our household, just wondered if anyone else has used the 73mb plan?

Yes we changed over to this exact plan earlier this month, it was activated on the 21st. So far so good.

It's advertised on MSE as "with line" but when I spoke to them this week, they said it was broadband only and any calling package would be charged

You should get a phone line but calls will be chargeable? Or, there's no phone provided?

"Line rental" and a phone line (or digital voice) are included, but calls are extra, or you pay for a calls package.

Check what speed you're actually getting - I was paying for 63Mb before but only getting about 38Mb so downgraded to the 34Mb - actually getting 33Mb and don't notice the difference.
