Government intervention of OFGEM
Is there any reason why this government (apart from sheer incompetence) can’t just legally force OFGEM to freeze the price cap for the next 12 months, pending a moratorium on changing how the cap is worked out? No Billing
Why have the Utility Companies been allowed to get away without billing people in a reasonable time period! When I bought my first house, the meter reader was round every quarter and accurate bill issued in days! These days they use old cups and tea leaves to issue their best guesstimate when the feel like it!

Provider was switched
We have been with SSE for years an recently we were switched to Ovo? This was done by SSE and not ourselves. They set a combined for both gas and electric at £209 a month. I’m a bulb duel fuel customer on prepayment, recently I had a smart meter installed. It displays my credit in £’s not inKW, I’m in the habit of keeping my account well in credit . if I pay £100 of credit now, am I buying kw’s at today’s price? Or will my money be devalued as the energy price increases ?
