Chase Card or cash for South Africa

I'm going alone on a Titan travel Safari Adventure in South Africa. Most of my meals & drinks are included. I'm hoping to use my Chase Card while there, so exchanging only £50 into Rands. Will my chase card be widely accepted or should I take more cash
