EVRI - Whole Company a Scam?

Hi Katie,

In all seriousness, is EVRI just a massive scam operation, honouring a small number of parcel deliveries to appear legit while taking thousands of pounds of customers money, knowing full well the original retailer is liable for the refund?

They seem like crooks to me... Especially after my sixth parcel has just been deemed 'lost'. And yes, I did ask the vendor to PLEASE use another courier first :)

Many thanks!

Not a scam, just extremely busy as are most delivery companies.

You'll see various threads about them here, with suggestions about what to do next:

  • Complaints about Hermes, now EVRI, seem to much depend on your location.  I have seen a number of horror stories about them, but our local EVRI delivery crew are excellent.  I've ordered loads of items to be delivered by them (mainly from eBay) and never had a single problem.  It seems to depend on the local management & crew at the warehouses.

@SpillerMRS I think it's very important to know that their drivers are self employed individuals.
    They are not employees.

Therefore, the more business-like the individual the more business-like service you will receive.
