Will be more than happy to see the back of it, I've cancelled my TV subscription to Virgin Media so in around 3 weeks I will on longer need the TV Licence. Saving my self around £42 per month by ditching VM & TV Licence and shifting all my TV viewing to online services (legally of course) :T I can watch everything I ever…

Any Law Broken?
 When a rep from sky knocked on my door a couple of years ago I was on my own; my hubby was working away from home. In short - the rep encouraged me to sign up using a relatives name with my bank details. He said these could be changed when hubby was home. Yes we changed the DD to my husband’s account but the name? No…

Price Increase day after signing contract
Hello I'm looking for some advice I recently contracted with sky for TV, phone and bb. I was not told about any upcoming price rises on the phone with the advisor. Only once had I contracted, the day after installation, was I informed via email. Surely I have the right to be told prior to contracting? Has anyone…

Hi, I have had Virgin Media for 13 out of the 18 month contract but they have had technical errors on my tv service for a while. Virgin Media - is my package good?
Hi all, I am currently on the following package with VM: XL TV. XL Broadband. M phone. 2 V+ HD boxes. I pay £61.54 per month and think I am now out of contract. Do you think I could do better? I wouldn't mind haggling for sports channels but I'm not overly bothered. Thanks.

Hey Guys, I'm considering buying BT Vision the £15 unlimited version which gives me the movie and sports channels. The question is, is it really worth £15 per month, I'm currently using Freesat which I am happy with - but really want some sports and movie channels. Would it be best just to go with Sky? Also I noticed that…

Summer months affect digital signal
I understand that atmospheric conditions in the summer does have an affect on TV reception. I lose several Freeview channels (pixellation, weak signal, no signal etc). No problem during winter months. I am only about 50 miles away from the Sandy Heath transmitter. I guess the problem lies with my, not so old, aerial. The…

Virgin Media - 'double speed LIE'
I'll keep this as short and detailed as possible. Last August I upgraded our Virgin package... I specifically asked that if we upgraded our 10mb broadband to 60mb...would we still be entitled to the free upgrade (100mb) when it came to our street? I was told yes. I 100% know this as that's the main reason that we upped our…

Sky agent lied - anything we can do?
So a pushy sales agent persuaded my Dad to sign up for Sky and leave Virgin - I warned him that you couldn't believe a word he said but it was cheaper. Turns out he lied about several things Box - was supposed to record 1000 hours - no chance! Told he was getting fibre optic broadband and that it would be as fast as virgin…

Look forward to hearing…

Talk Talk Youview Box on BT Broadband
My dad has BT broadband (Fibre) and is thinking about getting a cheap second hand Talk Talk Youview box. I was wondering if he'd still get the free BT sports channels on this as it would be using BT BB or would he need a BT Youview box?

Sky cancel and rejoin in partners name
Is there a flaw in my plan? I wish to cancel my sky - simply because its too expensive. I've called up and the best they could offer was line rental for £1 - no discount on TV or broadband. New customers get better offers and we had a flyer through this week with some of those offers (it was in the name of 'the occupier').…
