Virgin Media - is my package good?

Hi all,

I am currently on the following package with VM:

XL TV.
XL Broadband.
M phone.
2 V+ HD boxes.

I pay £61.54 per month and think I am now out of contract.

Do you think I could do better? I wouldn't mind haggling for sports channels but I'm not overly bothered.

You should haggle for at least one Tivo box completely free.

Also, unless you do loads of downloading, do you really need XL broadband? I downgraded from 120mb to 30mb, and haven't noticed a difference, apart from the occasional download.

I'm paying £61.90 but as I cancelled when the price increases came in I got a £100 credit off retentions making the cost £53.57 a month! Trick is keep them on their toes and cancel at the first whiff of a price increase and don't accept their first offer :beer:
