Sky HD offer from Tesco - what a joke
Ok I've already been a Sky subscriber for quite some time, and so already have a multiroom sub. I decided to buy a new TV from Tesco as they were doing the 'Free' Sky+ HD box. Now I've just spent the past 50min on the phone to Sky CS getting no-where. Because I'm an existing customer and already have a multi-room deal I'm…

If you wanted Sky AND BT vision...
Would you need a second phone line? How would it work? There's three phone sockets in our house. One has the home phone, one downstairs has the bt home hub, the one upstairs isn't used. If the home hub was moved upstairs, and bt vision box used in a bedroom, could you have sky tv too (running off the third downstairs phone…

Are there any deals for Sky which just involve + and not HD?
Or should I just get an HD box? I have the worlds oldest chunkiest tv, but I am aware that at some point I will need to scrimp and get something more modern (particularly as it's stopping working some of the time). I've had enough of BT and was planning on switching to Sky (the package I wanted was cheaper anyways) but the…

Another moan about Sky
Hey guys, I know there are quite a few threads on here complaining about Sky one way or another and I did look through them, however none of them seemed to answer my question/problem. It's a bit of a long story so I'll try to keep it as short as possible. Myself and my girlfriend moved into a new flat in June and decided…

Set top box - needs to be on all the time?
Hello, In the instructions for my new Virgin V-Box, it indicates that it should always be switched on at the wall, and left on standby. Is there any reason why I can't have it off at the wall? It's just that we're always told not to leave things on standby.

Does this TV exist?
I would like a digital TV but only 19", HD ready (although I did think some sets did have this now). Also, it needs to have Freeview built in, a USB port and not be black. Does anyone think such a thing exists? I think that in the past people have said the picture would be better if it was bigger but this TV is for a…

New Sky EPG
I noticed last week that my Sky telephone connection had accidentally discontected (the wire was pulled out). This explained why my Samsung HD box had not updated to the new EPG? So I sorted out the fault on the wiring and checked the connection -fine. Then I forced an update (switch off, wait 2 mins, switch on whilst…

Sky warning!!!
If you’re contemplating signing up with Sky, please be aware that their staff are using underhand practices to persuade you to sign. Please, please, please be careful – you will speak to a so-friendly representative, who will tell you anything to get you to sign – then the nightmare begins. In my (considerable) experience,…

trouble retuning freeview box
I'm not very tech savvy and probably a bit thick, but I'm having problems with retuning my freeview box. The picture has been breaking up, first of all on channel 5, then all the others, so I thought I would try retuning before Sept 30 because I understood you could do this prior to the changeover. Well, after much…

Anyone else having trouble with V+ and scheduling?
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced problems with programmes recorded on V+ cutting off at the end because the scheduling was slightly out? It seems to have happened a few times lately and my call to customer services didn't help much as they just blame the channel. I've had to find the programme through On…

Who can I complain to?
Good morning folks, Sky have overcharged me £88.50 since June. After various phonecalls and emails I have been told that the £88.50 will be refunded back into my bank account. That was on Sept 7th and I'm STILL waiting for my refund and frankly I'm furious and would like to complain to a higher body but after loads of…
