If you wanted Sky AND BT vision...

Would you need a second phone line? How would it work?

There's three phone sockets in our house. One has the home phone, one downstairs has the bt home hub, the one upstairs isn't used.

If the home hub was moved upstairs, and bt vision box used in a bedroom, could you have sky tv too (running off the third downstairs phone socket) or would you need a second phone line?

  • No, you wouldn't. ;) (need a second phone line)

The Sky box connects to the phone line like a phone does. It only phones home for Box Office and other interactive updates. BT Vision is wired to your ADSL connection. So the 2 are completely separate in their functionalities.
