Netbook with iTunes??
A friend of mine has just acquired an iPhone and wants to use iTunes for her music. She is thinking of buying a netbook for this. Where possible she has a budget of £250. I have suggested a cheap netbook plus an external hard drive to hold the music files. Any ideas whether a netbook would be sufficient? If so which one?

What has caused this LCD damage?
Does anyone know the likely cause of the damage shown in this picture? I can't see any unusual marks on the surface where the dark circles are but I suspect it must have been whacked for this to happen? Thanks Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Is this hard drive suitable and reliable?
After my disastrous experience with the Seagate hard drive I looked for a Samsung Spinpoint as recommended in my previous thread. This looks a good deal, has good reviews too, so will it be suitable for my computer? I have a Dell Inspiron 530 in original setup apart from adding 2gb extra RAM taking it to 3gb. Thanks, Ruth

Showing home movies on TV
I've just come home from holiday. Enjoying my newly-retired new hobby, I took some video on my new Panasonic HDC-SD10 camera. I tried using Adobe Premier Elements 7.0 to edit it but it didn't seem to work very easily so I used Windows Live Movie Maker which seemed much more straight forward. After editing I clicked to save…
