I have a medion laptop that is about 10 months old.
Today for no reason the touchpad has stopped working. I have uninstalled and reinstalled drivers and it is still not working although the properties say that the drivers are working properly.
I have had to plug in a mouse to use the laptop which is ok in the short term but it is bugging me that I cant get my touchpad to work.
I downloaded the drivers from the medion website and they have installed properly.
Any thoughts?

Yep - it should be still under warranty.604!0

Go into device manager (right click on 'computer' in the start menu, select properties, then click device manager) and delete the touchpad from the section labelled 'mice and other pointing devices', then restart the laptop and see what happens.
If that doesnt work, its still in warranty at 10 months old so give medion a call in the morning and get it repaired.

On some laptops you can hold function and F something to disable the touch pad?
