I have been asked this question..
Can anyone help me out with an answer, keep it in Layman's English please..
What function does a site provide in an Active Directory infrastructure?
Can anyone help me out with an answer, keep it in Layman's English please..
I would have used my own initiative if someone would have told me to!

Basically a site is a group of computers in the same subnet - depending on your network this could be office, floor, department, anything really.
In AD you could use it to apply different policies to each site. E.g. Machines on the 4th floor can only be logged into during office hours.0 -
