Ok...I've had the kindle reader app on my pc for a bit now..well being the birthday boy today i'm stunned to see my OH has bought me an android tablet (nothing fancy) so i'm wondering how can I transfer my kindle books from the PC to the kindle app on this new tablet

Plug your kindle into your PC using the cable that comes with it.
It should open up an explorer window like a USB stick would.
Then all you need to do is drag and drop your books from your PC into your kindle.Laters

You don't have to add them. Just install the Android Kindle app, set up your account details and your Amazon account will synchronise the Kindle app with all your past purchases and keep the tablet and the PC synchronised with any new purchases.There's love in this world for everyone. The Sync only works with book acquired via the Amazon system.

Some bought through amazon they'll sync fine...its a couple i've had from other places that wont..

Anything from Amazon will sync on any device with a Kindle app. I think anything third party that you've loaded via the Amazon email system should sync too (but I haven't tried that). Anything loaded by USB will need to be manually transferred.There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
